Archive for August 2010

2010-Nikon-2604.JPG It is dangerous to go online when there is mail on new GeoCoins, especially when it is coins of the type which I likes with small details, colors and perhaps a little celtic inspired. This was the case in early August and I "came" to buy eight new GeoCoins as I like to buy the whole series when the same coin is available in several editions.

This time it was geoswag who had a new series of 2 * 7 coins for sale, 2 different metals (antique bronze & antique copper) with details (enamel + Crystals) in 7 different colors (Dark, Dark Blue, Green, Light Green, Orange, Red and Purple), I bought only version in antique bronze + a coin made in respect of all the events were related to geocaching's 10 year anniversary (it is located at the top of the first 2 pictures).

The series is called "Celtic Circle of Life" and the 7 colors to symbolize the "mind, body, spirit, soul, heart and life" + for a night (nattecacher) and at geocaching.com they get this icon: Celtic Circle of Life

Today the coins arrived and so here is a picture of them all together (front and rear) and closeup of one of them.

2010-Nikon in 2466, Moesgaard-Vikingemarked.JPG This weekend 31st July-1. August there was a Viking market in the field of ancient hut at Moesgaard beach. I had checked the weather from home for the weekend and it looked best out Saturday, so there I was taken there. It was there also many who had done so there was a good atmosphere at the game and ride the show and the marketplace.

There was a show at. And 12 pm. 15 and I was there approx. eleven forty-five after walking the ancient path from Moesgaard Museum. Despite its late arrival, I was an OK place in the first row, however, completely out in left side, so it was no problem getting into a lot of pictures.

After the show I walked around the marketplace, both at the beach and on the upper part of the field and looked at things that were for sale in stalls. There was also a small musical troupe that entertained and a tent where you could be tattooed on the Viking style.
