Along with nearly 50 other "crazy" geocachers should I here over Easter this year 2 weeks to the southwestern United States where we want to make a round trip from Los Angeles to Palm Springs to Las Vegas. From there, continue approx. half to San Francisco and drive down the coast to Los Angeles and the other half goes directly back to Los Angeles.

As a slight detour from the route takes Torben (which I share a car and a room with) a 3 day tour around the Grand Canyon to see Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park before we come to all the others again.

There will be here on the blog get more info on the way and I will also be on the trip trying to write a little about what we experience every day or every other day, and lie some pictures up of what we see.

There was unfortunately a mistake and an oversight in the new version so I had to go see a new version up on the GSAK forum in this thread .

The 2 changes are:

  • If that was saved settings from the previous version was the values of the CSV-1 and CSV-2 tab is not initialized properly. They are now initialized to default values.
  • Due to variable substitution was muted in most of the macro, the folder as the macro uses bitmaps and help files are not created correctly. It has fixed the while there should be no problems if there are spaces in the full path.

Macro support is in this thread on the GSAK's forum.

Yesterday, I finally published a new version of my GSAK macro GarminCsvPoiExport. It was version 2.1.4 and there have been some changes since the previous version.

  1. Waymark icon was packed with the macro but it was not used, now has added a box on the Extra tab and if there is put a check mark that they also included in the generated CSV files.
  2. Much of the code is written about so you now can define how your POI should look like. For the use GSAK's Special Tags for both caches and their child-waypoints. The default is that they have been defined so far and you can always reset them to the values again. The setup of it is on the 2 CSV fanablade.
  3. The window was too wide for small netbooks when they had help text on, help text is now reformatted and the window is made narrower so it now just may be within the 1024 * 600 pixels are available.
  4. Finally, there is now able to decide how bitmap and CSV files are generated, the path is set by default to the location which has been effective so far. If you have saved settings you must save them again with the path you want in the settings.

Support is provided in GSAK's forum in this thread.

See a few pictures of the new setup options when you click on.

I fell over a new theme for my WordPress blog, thanks to Jesper Qvist it. It's called Mandigo and is from www.onehertz.com . After a little adjustment it looks quite reasonable, and it does not seem quite so hard to work with as it Inanis Glass I had used before.

Yes and then I just cleaned out a little in my WordPress plugins so all in all I hope is sitting seems a little faster now.
